The Amazing Spiderman Game Review: The Amazing Spider-Man is a 3rd person open world action and adventure video game, a tie-in to the film The Amazing Spider-Man featuring the Marvel Comics superhero, Spider-Man. The game was developed by Beenox, who is the developer of Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions & Spider-Man: Edge of Time, & published by Activision. The game was released on 26th of June, 2012 in North America & on 29th June, 2012 in Europe, on Nintendo DS, Mobile, Android, Xbox 360, iOS, PlayStation 3, & PC. The Amazing Spider-Man was directed by Gerard Lehiany & written by Seamus Kevin Fahey, Benjamin Schirtz & Gérard Lehiany. The Amazing Spider-Man has an open world and free roaming concept. In The Amazing Spider-Man Players can collect full, vintage comic books including Amazing Fantasy #15, as they collect comic covers throughout the game. The Amazing Spider-Man uses a unique damage system, the more damage SpiderMan takes, the more his suit is damaged. By finding different spider symbols in certain parts of New York & taking photos of them, alternate costumes re unlocked, such as Big Time SpiderMan, Scarlet Spider, the Sam Raimi trilogy red & blue suit when the player get the Stan Lee pre-order DLC or Rhino pre-order DLC, SpiderMan 3's black suit, a new version of the black suit & a party hat for Spidey's 50th anniversary, which is changed when the player goes to Peter Parker's apartment. Numerous DLC packs have been released for this version. There are also many in-game references to characters in other franchises.
