Doom 3 Game Review: Doom 3 is a science fiction horror 1st person shooter video game. It was developed by id Software and published by Activision. The game was 1st released for Microsoft Windows on 3rd of August, 2004. It was later adapted for Linux and was being ported by Aspyr Media for Mac OS X. Doom 3 is a story driven action game played from a 1st person perspective. The main objective in Doom 3 is to successfully pass through its levels by defeating a variety of enemy characters intent on killing the player. The game's more story centred approach, means that the player often encounters friendly non player characters, provide key plot information,inventory items and objectives. Doom 3 incorporates 10 weapons for the player's use to survive, these weapons include conventional firearms & explosives such as a shotgun, submachine gun, & grenades, & the traditional BFG 9000, experimental plasma weaponry, and chainsaw weapons. Enemies come in multiple forms & with different abilities & tactics, but fall into 2 broad categories of either demons or zombies. Zombies are humans possessed by demonic forces, they attack the player using their hands & melee weapons or a variety of firearms. Demons are creatures from Hell, most of them attack by using claws & spines, or by summoning plasma-based fireballs.
