Command & Conquer Game Review: Command & Conquer is an upcoming real time strategy video game in the Command & Conquer series. It has been developed by Victory Games for the Microsoft Windows platform. Command & Conquer use the Frostbite 2 engine & introduced downloadable content to the series. It's the 1st game in the series to be developed by Victory Games, making them the series' 3rd developer after Westwood Studios & EA Los Angeles. The game will available exclusively on Electronic Arts' Origin distribution service. Command & Conquer was announced as Command & Conquer: Generals 2 & would be a direct sequel to 2003's Command & Conquer: Generals. Command & Conquer was re-purposed as the 1st in a series of free-to-play games set in the Command & Conquer universe. It's currently planned to be released in 2013.
Command & Conquer Gameplay: Command & Conquer is set to return to the style of the original Command & Conquer series, after the tweaks to the series' gameplay formula found in Command & Conquer IV: Tiberian Twilight such as removal of base building & the inclusion of population caps proved unpopular. Command & Conquer would again feature the series' staples of base building & resource collection, orchestrating & commanding large armies. It would also feature 3 "unique" factions: the militant Global Liberation Army, the technologically-advanced European Union, & the newly formed Asian-Pacific Alliance.
