Company of Heroes Review: Company of Heroes is a real-time strategy video game. It has been developed by Relic Entertainment. Company of Heroes was released on 12th of September, 2006, & was the 1st title to make use of the Games for Windows label. The standalone expansion, Opposing Fronts, was released on 25th September, 2007. The 2nd standalone expansion, Tales of Valor was released in the month of April 2009. The game, Company of Heroes Online, an MMO version of the Company of Heroes was released as a free to play, microtransaction based video game in South Korea in the month of April, 2010. Online Open Beta of Company of Heroes ended on 31st of March, 2011. According to the Relic Entertainment, Company of Heroes released and after some days the Relic Entertainment given is that the reason for servers being shut down was the developers' new unnamed RTS project which was to be unveiled in the month of August 2011. On February 21, 2012, it was announced by Aspyr Media that they would be releasing Company of Heroes & all of the standalone expansions to the Mac OS X platform on 1st of March, 2012. The game, Company of Heroes received the highest score for a real-time strategy from the PC magazine PC Gamer. Many other publications have awarded it the highest score as well of any real time strategy.
Company Of Heroes Gameplay: The Company of Heroes is set during World War 2. In the single player campaign of Company Of Heroes, the player commands 2 United States military units during the Battle of Normandy & the Allied liberation of France. The player controls either Able Company of the twenty ninth Infantry Division's one hundred and sixth Infantry, or Fox Company of the one hundred and 1st Airborne's 506th PIR.
