Wall-E Game Review: WALL-E is the video game adaptation of the movie of the same name. WALL-E was developed and published by Play THQ for multiple platforms. It was released in North America on 24th of June, 2008, in Europe on 4th of July, 2008 & in Australia on 4th of September, 2008. It was also released in Japan on 11th of December, 2008, although not officially available on the Xbox 360 & any PC. The game was fairly well reviewed by critics. WALL-E's best received version was the PSP version which was 64/100 on the Metacritic scale. The Wii, PlayStation 3, & Xbox 360 versions feature 9 explorable worlds. The PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, and Microsoft Windows versions feature 18 worlds, & the Nintendo DS features 14 explorable worlds. The Wii version of the game features only 3 head-to-head multiplayer modes, while the Nintendo DS version features co-op modes playable as WALL-E or EVE. As the player moves through the levels of the Nintendo DS version, he unlocks clips from the movie viewable at any time. The PlayStation Portable, PlayStation 2, and Windows versions requires the player to use music to summon reject bots throughout the game. The WALL-E story mode seems to be altered the character's roles & different from the movie such as WALL-E can commonly use its laser, the EVE is tasered by AUTO, WALL-E repairing EVE and WALL-E survived from getting crushed by the Holo-Detector.
