Cabela's Dangerous Hunts Game Review: Cabela's Dangerous Hunts is a hunting, action and simulation video game. It was developed by FUN Labs for PC and Xbox and by Sand Grain Studios for PlayStation 2. The game was published by Activision Value, EU Zoo Digital Publishing. It is available on PlayStation 2, Microsoft Windows and Xbox platforms. Cabela's Dangerous Hunts was released on 11th of November, 2003. Cabela's Dangerous Hunts is a 1st person shooter in which the player goes on hunting trips. Cabela's Dangerous Hunts features "Quick Hunt", which lets the players jump right into the action by choosing equipment, hunting the required animal and a hunting tag. In the Action Zone, the player start off in a small portion of a map & a certain amount of a dangerous animal will appear. After that, once the animals are hunted by the player, the portal opens to the next round. The Career Mode, allows the players to create a profile & then customize their stats, age, & appearance. In all the 3 modes there are penalties for non-game animals, which result in failing. The Terrain is another thing the player must pay attention to. The falling into deep streams or off of high ledges can result in an injury & failing the hunt. All aggressive animals such as bear, cape buffalo, & leopard will attack the player, which too results in injury & failure. The player has an energy limit. The player will become tired & need to slow down after a while of hunting. This effect can be reduced by carrying lighter equipment & conserving energy.
