Into The Dark Review: Into the Dark is based on a B-Movie by the same name, a useless experience composed out of 60% humor, 30% horror & 10% technical flaws. In this game, the player assume the role of Peter (Pete O Brannon), a Private Eye detective. Sounds good, but it isn't, because unless player find it thrilling to hunt down cheating husbands & lost pooches while buying of cheap Chinese food for dinner in shabby looking motels. That is what Peter’s job here is all about, but good for him, he has wealthy customer paying his bills. They are Global Secure Incorporated, one of the huge insurance companies of East Coast. More exactly, it's Samantha Miller also known as Sam, heads their insurance fraud investigation department. She is tough, intelligent & she is better than Peter. Much better. But due to firm's rules & regulations & a few very nasty ethic rules, she may take the assistance of semi-legal steps to gain vital information & evidence. That's where Peter steps in the story, for 500 dollars a day plus expenses along with a nice 20% share of the cash the company saves with whatever Peter uncovers.
