Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban Game Review: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is a video game that was released concurrently with the film release of Harry Potter & the Prisoner of Azkaban. Both the game & the film were based on J. K. Rowling's Harry Potter & the Prisoner of Azkaban, the 3rd novel in the Harry Potter series.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban Plot: After another dreadful summer with the Dursleys, 13 year-old Harry Potter returns to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft & Wizardry for his 3rd year. On Hogwarts Express, he finds out that the mass murderer Sirius Black, who betrayed Harry's parents, has escaped from the wizard prison Azkaban & seems to want to kill Harry for thwarting He Who Must Not Be Named. While Harry Potter helps Ron look for his pet Scabbers (rat), the train suddenly stops & a hooded figure appears. Harry Potter suddenly faints. New Defense Against the Dark Arts Teacher Professor Remus Lupin arrives & stops the figure, & explains that the figure is one of the soul sucking dementors, guards of Azkaban. Once at Hogwarts, it's announced that the dementors will be guarding the school entrances  that affects Harry in a disturbing way. With his friends, Ron & Hermione, Harry intent on unraveling the mystery surrounding Sirius Black & his escape from Azkaban.
