Medal of Honor: Allied Assault Game Review: Medal of Honor: Allied Assault is abbreviated as MoH:AA. The game is a 1st person shooter video game. It was developed by 2015, Inc. & created by Steven Spielberg. Medal of Honor: Allied Assault was published by EA Games for Microsoft Windows & Aspyr for Mac OS X. The game title was officially released on January 22, 2002 in North America and on February 15, 2002 in Europe for Microsoft Windows. Medal of Honor: Allied Assault's Mac version was released in August 2002. It's the 3rd & only installment with expansion packs of the Medal of Honor series. Medal of Honor: Allied Assault is based on the Quake III Arena engine with modifications from Heavy Metal: F.A.K.K.², and it simulates infantry combat in the European &d North African Theaters during World War 2. Allied Assault is the 1st game in the Medal of Honor series to be released for Microsoft Windows.

Medal of Honor: Allied Assault Gameplay: In Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, the player takes on role of Lt. Mike Powell of the US Army Rangers and works for the OSS. In Single player campaign, missions include assaulting German bases in Algiers & Norway, storming the Omaha Beach on D-Day, & rescuing comrades behind enemy lines in occupied France. Medal of Honor: Allied Assault's levels are often compared to Steven Spielberg's 1998 film Saving Private Ryan; many levels are direct quotations of the scenery in the film. The Multiplayer campaign contains 4 modes named as Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Round Based, & Objective mode. The other game modes have been created by fans of the game such as "Basebuilder" and "Freeze Tag".
