The Train Giant A-Train 9 Game Review: A-Train 9 belongs to the A-Train series. It is a series of train simulation video games that were originally developed & published by Japanese game developer Artdink in Japan. The 1st game in the series was published in 1985. The 1st release in the United States of America was Take the A-Train 2, published in 1988 by the publishers named Seika Corporation under the title Railroad Empire. Though, the most well known US release is Take the A-Train 3, published in 1992 by Maxis as simply A-Train. The latest release of the A-Train series, is the A-Train 9. It has been launched on 11 February, 2010 in Japan, & on 15 March, 2012 worldwide by UIG Entertainment under the names The Train Giant in English & Der Bahn Gigant in German. It's compatible with Windows XP, Windows 7, Vista & is also compatible with the said 64-bit versions. In Japan version, only building kits were released, the 1st on 8 October, 2010 & the 2nd on 23 December, 2010. The Japan version includes a 3D patch costing ¥1050 that can be played using 3D glasses, & the German version includes an unofficial patch that adds two hundred trains to the game on top of the existing eleven trains. A-Train 9 includes trucks and buses, grouped by distances they travel & the work they manage, power plants, the Japanese castles & more authentic-looking Japanese buildings.
