Zombie Driver Review: Zombie Driver is a vehicular combat PC video game. The game is set in a zombie apocalypse setting, a chemical accident or secret government project has turned the inhabitants of an entire city into shambling and aggressive opponents. In the game, the player must undertake various missions to rescue stranded civilians, slaughter zombies & unlock or upgrade various cars. Zombie Driver has been presented in a top down perspective. The player controls one of 8 vehicles. Each vehicle behaves in the same fashion with regards to movement, steering, & weapons, but each has different properties regarding acceleration, top momentum, manoeuvrability, speed, passenger capacity, & resistance to damage. All vehicles can be outfitted with a variety of weapons or equipment, ranges from machine guns to nitro boost, are available in the world as pickups. Only one equipment/weapon can be equipped at a time with a new pickups completely replacing the previous equipment/weapon. The Ammo capacity varies by weapon but is not affected by the vehicle driven. Zombie Drivers takes place in varying areas of a single, the unnamed city besieged by a zombie outbreak. The Zombies are uniformly hostile towards the player & will attack & damage their vehicle using a variety of attacks depending on the specific zombie type. The Zombies can be destroyed by driving into them with the player vehicle, by the use of acquired weaponry, or by the use of certain limited in-game hazards such as fires or explosives. If the player runs into zombies, it will slow the vehicle down, and the actual amount depends on the ramming power of the vehicle.
