F1 Race Stars Game Review: F1 Race Stars is a kart racing video game. It was developed by Codemasters. The game was released in the month of November, 2012. The game is loosey based on the 2012 Formula One season, with circuits re-designed to feature jumps, loops, & short-cuts. The game is spin-off from the traditional Formula One video games,& its is the 1st kart-racing game developed by Codemasters. In the game, the player is able to choose animated versions of Formula One racing drivers, such as Fernando Alonso, World Champion Sebastian Vettel & Lewis Hamilton. It was announced on 13th of July, 2012 at the San Diego Comic-Con International. All twelve teams & twenty four drivers that started the 2012 Formula One season appear as playable characters, along with 2 additional fictional teams: TecNova-Star with 2 female drivers, Jessica Chekker and Ruby Power and second one fictional team is Satsu-Aceler with female driver Kira Hoshihara and male driver Josh Merit. There are eleven circuits to choose from by default, each circuit is based on one of the twenty rounds of the season, provided with modifications to suit the game-play. Additional courses & other content are available as fee-based downloads. All tracks contain a KERS system around corners & Item Boxes where players can pick up weapons. In the game, getting hit by weapons damages player's car which leads to the driver needing to make a pit stop to maintain top speed.
